Anna Maria Island July 4th, 2016 Parade

Don't forget the July 4th Parade on Anna Maria Island. It's time to decorate your golf cart and join the fun! The Parade starts at the southern end at Coquina Beach, Bradenton Beach and heads up the length of the island to Bayfront Park, Anna Maria.

Last year, the parade attracted 20,000 spectators along the 7 mile parade route, had 115 parade entries and over 850 participants in the entire parade! The parade is put on by the AMI Privateers, a non-profit organization.

There will be a Parade Party with live music and yummy food offerings at The Ugly Grouper Restaurant located at 5704 Marina Drive, Holmes Beach Florida where the Privateers will announce the Scholarship recipients of over eleven thousand dollars!

Anna Maria Island July 4th Fireworks

There is nothing like enjoying a gorgeous fireworks presentation on the beach. A warm summer night, your family and friends close by to celebrate this national event, no other location can beat it. Bring beach chairs and find a nice spot on the beach to enjoy them!

The Beachhouse Restaurant will not host any fireworks again this year due to the endangered nesting shorebirds that are calling the dunes next to the restaurant home. We love that Anna Maria Island is invested in protecting it's treasured ecosystem.

The Sandbar Restaurant will be hosting the July 4th, 2016 Fireworks this year.
