Skinny's Place is the best burger shack on the island, and deservedly busy due to it's great food and location, directly across the street from Manatee Public Beach. It's cash only and your order is taken at the bar, where your wait time is measured in beers. Don't be intimidated by the ahem.... rustic beach shack architecture, just grab a table inside or out and wait for your name to be called.

The cheeseburgers are melt in your mouth great. Served on fresh soft buns, with all the fixings. The onion rings are by far the best I've ever tasted and the french fries are pretty yummy too. The beer and wine are served up ice cold, really there's nothing better on a hot beach day. 

Skinny's is a definite stop for a beach burger experience on the island
