Family and friends come together to enjoy a fun filled day on Pine Avenue in the City of Anna Maria, located on the north end of the island within walking distance from our vacation rentals. We're celebrating the 17th year running of Bayfest, known for drawing crowds from near and far for the music, car show, kids zone and of course the food and drinks too. Enjoy music from the main stage area or local bands dotted along Pine Avenue. Peruse and purchase one-of-a-kind arts and crafts on every block. The kids will be happy with the fun kids zone replete with bouncy houses and the Privateer's Huge Pirate Ship.
IT'S FREE!
This event is free to the public but is wise to bring your wallet and enjoy the food and drink offerings along the street, as well as the craft booths set up and of course the fab and totally original local boutiques featured on Pine Avenue.
Insider Tip! There is limited parking available due to Pine Avenue being closed off so keep the car at home and take the free Island Trolley. Crosspointe Fellowship Church at 8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach has a large parking lot. If you're a classic car nut or simply want to reminisce over gorgeous cars including antique, custom muscle cars, street rods and more then don't miss the Classic Car Show during Bayfest.
There should be over 100 cars to enjoy this year!

BAYFEST FOODIE LINE UP
If the music and car show don't get you the food definitely will entice you to join in the fun. Hurricane Hanks has recovered from the Hurricane Party, see photo below... you just gotta love islanders! Hanks is offering mouth watering poutine and seafood favorite clam chowder.
Poppo’s Taqueria is one of our favorite Cuban-Mexican style restaurants on the island so don't miss their epic tacos.
Rocky Top Concessions will have festival bites like hot dogs, corn dogs, Italian sausage & peppers, nachos, french fries. Sure to please everyone in your group.
Subz n Grubz has grub balls on the menu. I've never tried them but these little balls of potato heaven call to my Irish heritage. Their fried shrimp basket, lobster mac & cheese, crab cake bites look yummy too.
The Feast is serving up crowd pleasers like coconut shrimp and conch fritters... I better go on a diet so I can indulge!
Village Idiot Pizzeria is aptly serving their delicious pizza and T & L BBQ are offering their BBQ fare.

The Schnitzel Trailer will be trucking on in with their special German brats, curry wurst, Vienna style pork schnitzel, homemade goulash soup. Prost!
The Paella Kitchen showcases Greek cuisine, The Rolling Smoke – gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, The Privateers will be offering hamburgers & corn on the cob
And to top it all off don't forget to hit up Tyler’s Ice Cream or our top choice Two Scoops Ice Cream on the corner of Pine Ave and South Bay Blvd.
