Anna Maria Island is rich with culture and is one of the reasons why artists gravitate here. So many of our favourite artists take inspiration from the gorgeous Beach Life that surrounds this island treasure. The island really is a haven of inspiration for resident artists like Cory Wright, Marlene Wurzbach, Deborah Webster, and so many, many, more that we admire. It's no wonder that this popular artist event has grown into 2 weekend celebrations! In this article we will be focusing on the ArtsHOP walk and Art Galleries. There are links to each event below. Artspace, (2nd Floor) 101 South Bay Blvd. Anna Maria - Our favourite gallery! A champagne and dessert reception with live music will take place. Artspace is a working studio and gallery that is welcoming to all ages. A wide range of activities occur at this studio including art receptions, art classes, workshops and for the amateur artist 'Canvas 'n Corks'. Anna Maria Island Historical Society and Belle Haven Cottage, 402 Pine Ave. Anna Maria - This petit museum houses rare maps, old photographs, newspaper and video clips and tons more unique historical objects. Gift shop is also on site.
